Downloading Trails

Save trails for offline access

Why Download Trails?

Downloading trails allows you to:

  • Navigate without internet connection
  • View trail details in remote areas
  • Save mobile data while outdoors

Note: Only the trail is downloaded. Maps must be downloaded separately - without downloaded maps, the background won't display, but the trail path will still be visible for navigation.

How to Download a Trail

  1. Find and open the trail you want to download
  2. Tap the Download button (cloud with arrow)
  3. Confirm the download

Offline Capabilities

When offline with a downloaded trail, you can:

  • Navigate with GPS using the trail path
  • View trail details and information
  • Record activities
  • View maps (if downloaded separately)

Without downloaded maps: The trail path will still be visible, but no map background will display. Only the trail line will show on the screen for navigation.
